Most families I work with come in worried about getting everyone dressed, keeping kids happy, or just making it through the session. That’s completely normal.
My approach to family photography in Dripping Springs is simple. We keep things relaxed and focus on real moments instead of perfect poses. I’ll guide you when needed, but I also give your family space to be yourselves. That’s where the best photos come from.
Whether we’re shooting in an open field, around your home, or somewhere meaningful to your family, the goal is the same. Capture this season in a way that actually feels like you.
What to Expect
Family sessions are designed to feel easy from start to finish. I’ll help with location ideas, timing, and what to wear so you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
During the session, we keep things moving and flexible. Kids don’t need to sit still or “behave perfectly.” Some of the best moments happen in between. Most sessions last about an hour, which gives us enough time without it feeling like too much.

WHAT IF MY KIDS DON't COOPERATE?
That’s completely normal and expected. I don’t rely on kids sitting still or following directions the whole time. I work with their energy and keep things moving so we still get great images.

After booking, I’ll be happy to guide you through what photographs well and how to coordinate without overthinking it. The goal is to keep things simple and natural.
Where do family sessions take place?
Most sessions take place outdoors around Dripping Springs, Bee Cave or Austin. I’ll suggest locations based on the look you want, or we can use a place that already feels meaningful to your family.
What if the weather doesn't cooperate?
If the weather doesn’t work, we’ll reschedule. I keep the process flexible so you’re not stressed about things outside your control.
